Visit TextronSystems\.com & Lycoming\.com to read more about who we are and the products we make\! **Job Summary:** Our Engineering team is seeking a Configuration Data Management Analyst to support multiple product lines in our Goose Creek, SC location\. The candidate will be eager to guide and support our Customers and our Engineering teams to follow industry\-standard configuration management practices/principles, as they investigate, design, and integrate new and advanced technologies into our family of products within the Electronic Systems \. The ideal candidate willleverage modern configuration, application, and life cycle management tools and processes to maintain version control for hardware, software and documentation\. **Responsibilities:** * Coordinate and manage the five functions of Configuration Management \(configuration identification, configuration change management, configuration status accounting, and configuration verification and audit\) for medium to large programs to help meet goals for cost, quality, and schedule\. * Draft new Configuration Management \(CM\) Plans for new programs, maintain CM Plans for existing work Lead and conduct Physical Configuration Audits \(PCAs\) and Functional Configuration Audits \(FCAs\) to ensure delivered products meet the product baseline and specified requirements\. * Co\-chair Change Control Boards \(CCB\) between our company and its customers and suppliers\. * Review documentation creation and change activities to ensure proper application of Product Lifecycle Management \(PLM\) and Enterprise Resource Management \(ERP\) system requirements\. * Coordinate delivery of periodic Technical Data Package \(TDP\) deliveries\. * Support Quality Management System \(QMS\) audits as needed\. * Utilize Microsoft Office tools \(Access, Excel, MS Project, Word, Outlook\) for drawing reviews and contractual deliverables\. * Perform duties relevant to Software Configuration Management \(SCM\), including media processing, documentation, witnessing Software Build Procedures, and managing artifacts\. * Generate database and status accounting reports\., and other CM duties\. * Ensure electronic deliveries of files and documentation occur\. * Ensure integrity and accuracy of configuration management data in support of quality assurance initiatives\. Key Duties: * Ability to establish and maintain configuration baselines while understanding and managing the impacts of engineering change notices throughout the entire product life cycle\. * Ability to read, interpret, and extract applicable information from contracts, specifications, and processes in support of the development of CM Plans and Processes\. * Organize and manage the internal Configuration Control Boards \(CCBs\) process\. **Qualifications** **Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree with minimum 2 years experience in Configuration Management or related professional experience * Ability to obtain a U\.S\. Security Clearance\. * Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools\. * Knowledge of configuration management principles and practices\. * Experience in technical writing * Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, primarily MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint\. * Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate across all organizational levels **Preferred Qualifications:** * Familiarity with ASME Y14\.100 and related standards\. * Familiarity with Computer Aided Design \(CAD\) software, such as Siemens NX or SolidWorks, for inspection and adherence to ASME standards\. * Experience with Product Lifecycle Management \(PLM\) systems, such as ENOVIA or Teamcenter, and Enterprise Resource Planning \(ERP\) systems like Oracle\. * Knowledge of Software Configuration Management \(SCM\) and Software Versioning tools\. * Industry or Government Configuration Management certification \(CM2\)\. **How We Care** At Textron Systems, our talented people make us successful\.
