Configuration Management Analyst, Journeyman

We are currently seeking a Configuration Management Analyst, Journeyman to support our Patuxent River, MD customer in PMA-261.  The Analyst will be a member of the CM/DM Team and will support the daily activities of the Program Office. The ideal candidate will be able to perform the following duties as well as possess the following education and experience:

Functional Description: Collects, organizes, and interprets data relating to aircraft and product programs.  Maintains configuration control of acquisition products and data. Tracks configuration changes. Coordinates and supports development of Engineering Change Proposals.  Applies government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management. Plans and executes configuration management using the EIA-649 (Series) Configuration Management Standard, EIA-649-1 Configuration Management Requirements for Defense Contractors, and the GEIA-HD-649 (Series) Configuration Management Standard Implementation Guide.  Maintains a data repository to store, control access, and release of data to authorized users.

Specific tasks include but are not limited to:

Maintain CM databases Build NAVAIR CCB packages Set up Configuration meetings and capture meeting minutes Maintain Concurrency tracker Monitor contract mods for approved Configuration changes

Required Education:

BA/BS Degree; ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: Associate’s Degree plus two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category, OR  Four (4) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category; may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience:

Three(3) to Ten (10) years of combined experience performing duties described in the functional description with at least one(1) of those years demonstrating experience in planning and executing configuration management using the Electronic Industry Alliance (EIA) -649 (Series) Configuration Management Standard, EIA-649-1 Configuration Management Requirements for Defense Contractors, and the Government EIA-HD-649 (Series) Configuration Management Standard Implementation Guide.

Desired Experience:

At least 1 year of experience in the NAVAIR configuration change management process.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Compensation at Precise Systems is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, competencies, and contract-specific requirements. The salary range for this position is $44,054-$110,542.90 (annualized USD). This range represents the standard pay for this role and is just one component of Precise Systems’ total compensation package.
