Job Description
Our client is currently seeking a Configuration Management (CM) Analyst to provide support to a program office at Aberdeen, MD. The successful candidate will provide engineering and analytical support for CM operations, analyze CM processes, and develop measurements to monitor key phases of the CM process.
ResponsibilitiesProvide engineering and analytical support for CM operations.Analyze CM processes and develop measurements to monitor key phases of the CM process.Organize, conduct, and manage the internal Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) process.Evaluate program artifacts and maintain and update a repository of ECPs and Deviations based on the results from CCBs.Support the conduct of Functional and Physical Configuration Audits.Support the conduct of engineering and technical assessments of program technical reviews.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree and 7 years of experience.Active Secret level clearance.Strong knowledge of configuration management.Experience providing support to Army electronic equipment programs.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Strong technical writing expertise.Excellent interpersonal, time management, and analytical skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products.Experience with ACAT level programs.Capability to develop program documentation and briefings, and coordinate the review/approval process.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering (desired).Work Environment
The role is located on-post at the Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD, supporting a large Army contract called PM PNT SUPPORT (Positioning, Navigation & Timing). The team consists of roughly 67 employees who are performing sustainment work on older systems while also making advancements and adding capabilities to next-generation products. The work environment requires state-of-the-art GPS technology for military troops and vehicles.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $50.00
