Manage Configuration Items (CIs) across the IT Service Life-cycle, ensuring CIs are identified, base-lined, maintained, and changes to CIs are controlled.Ensure formally approved software releases into controlled environments are completed as scheduled.Maintain a Configuration Management Database (CMDB) capable of holding information on all CIs including attributes and the relationships between CIs.Maintain the Configuration Management Plan which establishes the framework for identifying, controlling, reporting on, and auditing CIs.Maintain and updating CM policy, plans and procedures through the Configuration Management Plan.Maintaining a Definitive Media Library (DML) for hardware and software.Define and create CM audit reports, as needed.Analyze changes of product design to determine the effect on the product design and function and determines and prepares documentation necessary for change.Design and establish management documentation.Authorize the release of drawings, and software configuration changes specified by management and other functional groups.Develop and maintain software configuration management tools to support configuration identification, control, reporting, and delivery of both internally developed and externally purchased commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software products.Perform configuration management and release engineering tasks to ensure new software product operating parameters are documented, comply with standard hardware configurations, and are logistically sustainable.Design, develop, automate, and maintain productivity tools using programming, database, or scripting languages to improve software modeling and development.Design and implement build procedures that are used to support software product development and use.May develop software configuration standards for company-wide use.May train software developers in the use of configuration management tools and the implementation of software quality standards.Work Environment:

Required:
Clearance: Top Secret with SCI5 years with BS/BA, 3 years with MS/MA, 0 years with PhD. 4 years additional experience can be considered in lieu of degree.Configuration Management experience across a large-scale enterprise Information Technology (IT) program.Demonstrated experience in identification, base-lining, maintaining, and controlling changes to IT enterprise assetsDesired:
ITILv4 Foundation CertificationBasic Compensation:
$95,000 to $105,000
This range is for the Maryland area only
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of a sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
