At Morgan Philips, we are supporting our client, a leading multinational organization, in the search for a CMDB Manager. Reporting to the Team Lead IT Asset Management, the CMDB Manager will collaborate with associates in Hardware Asset Management (HAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), FinOps, and external outsourcing partners.

Responsibilities:

​​Lead the management and governance of the ServiceNow CMDB to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness. Oversee the integration of ServiceNow CMDB with LeanIX and other tools, including potential SAM/HAM systems. Collaborate with HAM, SAM, and FinOps teams to ensure the CMDB supports operational and strategic objectives. Drive the roll-out and adoption of the CMDB across the company global IT landscape. Maintain compliance with ITIL standards and ensure alignment with the organization IT governance framework. Provide operational support for CMDB-related processes, addressing issues and implementing improvements. Monitor trends in the market to identify opportunities for innovation or improvement in CMDB practices.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Business administration, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in IT Configuration Management, CMDB governance, or a related role. Experience with ServiceNow, ITIL processes, and tool integrations. ITIL and/or ServiceNow certifications are highly preferred. Expertise in ServiceNow CMDB, with experience managing large-scale implementations. Strong understanding of ITIL processes, preferably ITIL-certified. Experience with tool integrations, such as LeanIX and SAM/HAM systems. Fluency in English; Spanish or German is a plus.
