We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Configuration & Requirements Analyst (Delivery) to join our team. This multifaceted role will oversee processes and activities associated with configuration management and control of deliverables to ensure achievement of project delivery objectives.
This position is located in Newport News, VA.
Develop and implement configuration management processes and procedures to ensure configuration control of all project artifacts.
Conduct configuration audits and reviews to ensure post-implementation alignment with requirements.
Support the creation and maintenance of documentation for configuration management processes, requirements, and change control.
Continuously improve configuration management and requirements analysis processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and technical teams to iterate on and refine configuration items as needed.
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, leads, and other stakeholders to gather, analyze, document, and refine requirements in an agile, iterative manner.
Maintain a product backlog of requirements, ensuring clear acceptance criteria and linking them to relevant design documents and test cases.
Communicate requirements changes and their impact effectively to stakeholders.
Establish and maintain configuration control processes to manage system versions, changes, and documentation.
Support efforts to create and maintain configuration item (CI) registries, ensuring all assets are properly identified and documented.
Validate consistency, accuracy, and integrity of project configurations against requirements and impacted environments.
Collaborate with development, testing, and deployment teams to verify that all changes are approved, tracked, and implemented correctly.
Manage and audit baselines for project deliverables, ensuring compliance with standards and policies.
Develop strategies to streamline CM practices and integrate them with overall project management processes.
Communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions to stakeholders and executive leadership.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying best practices and lessons learned.
US Citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance is required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5 years of proven experience as a CM Analyst, Requirements Analyst, Project Manager, or similar role
Strong understanding of configuration management principles, processes, and tools.
Experience with requirements analysis and documentation.
Proficiency in configuration management and requirements management tools (e.g., JIRA, DOORS, ServiceNow).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with IT Service Management Frameworks such as ITIL and processes such as Configuration, Change, and Release Management
IAT level II certification is required (e.g. Cloud+, Sec+)
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
Working knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS)
Experience working with software development tools such as Azure DevOps and Git
Experience working with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
Experience with DevSecOps principles and DoD policies related to the topic
ITIL v3 or v4 Foundations Certifications
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $69,700.00 - $154,300.00.
