Future Technologies is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist to join our winning team. Location:  Dahlgren, VA

 

Clearance: Must have or be able to obtain a Secret clearance

Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

Currently seeking a Configuration Management Specialist with two (2) or more years of experience in Configuration and Data Management, Data Quality Assurance and QualityControl, or Inventory Control.Demonstrating analytical, verbal and written skills necessary to provide and maintain configuration management records and audits of the specified computer equipment and configurations across multiple sites.Configuration management related tools. Experience using Microsoft Office’s product suite.Demonstrating effective verbal skills to communicate with managers, developers, and peers.Writing procedures and preparing systems engineering Life-Cycle support documentation. Familiarity with standards and best practices for the Configuration Management discipline. Qualifications

Required Education and Experience :

HS diploma with 2 years relevant work experienc of Configuration Management or; an Associates Degree with 1 year relevant work experienceCandidate must have or be able to obtain a Secret security clearance.Must have strong analytical skills and be detail orientedStrong computer skills and experience with MS Office applications.Strong written and oral communication skills.Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build effective working relationships.

DESIRED SKILLS:

Experience with Product Data Management toolsAbility to quickly learn new software tools and processes
