Job Summary:
Responsible for assisting SFLC with Configuration Data Management functions. Position requires strong interpersonal skills and compassion and respect for persons with disabilities.
Essential Functions:
Ability to review, analyze and process configuration, provisioning and technical data from government-maintained data sources provided in various formats for the purpose of maintaining an accurate configuration baseline for each hull Comprehend and complete necessary Configuration Data Management activities within the Fleet Logistics System within 30 calendar days of serving under this contract Review hierarchical data in structured databases and understands system/equipment parent child relationships specific to managing configuration data for shipboard systems Ability to review, analyze, and process provisioning data in various formats from government-maintained data sources for the purpose of developing, correcting, and updating allowance parts lists and supply support documents. Support provided maintenance requirements, which are driven by a configuration baseline Perform data entry and data management support, to include working in relational databases performing quality checks for data entered. Provide a working knowledge and understanding of basic maintenance support concepts working with electrical, electronic, mechanic or auxiliary systems and equipment. Capable of reviewing technical manuals and specifications, creating Supply Support Requests (SSR) and Item Entry Proposals (IEP) in support of bringing new items of supply into the Coast Guard supply system. Minimum four years of experience providing data entry and data management support. Minimum four years of experience working in relational databases performing quality checks for data entered. Valid driver’s license from state of residence and ability to drive License must have been valid for at least 3 years If driving a 15-passenger van, must be at least 25 years old Acceptable driving record as determined by Agency’s insurance carrier and by Chimes DC policies and procedures US Citizenship required Complete a background investigation of at least a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) with dates on file. Be able to obtain and maintain, Low Risk, Non-Sensitive, Physical/Logical Access, HSPD-12 Credentialing. Ability to travel as may be required, on a limited basis, to support this task. Locations will be CONUS, Alaska and Hawaii, and may include site visits to various Coast Guard units.Essential Personnel:

work location or to report to work to protect, recover, and continue operations at the facility.
Education:
