We support two Data Centers, 15,000 Distributed platforms, 24 Mainframe Regions, a secure and reliable Network connecting all the technology across the bank footprint and process approximately 635,000 automated jobs per month. In addition to that foundational technology level, we own the operational support processes, monitoring and command center that provide a unified, well-managed technology response when issues arise. We deliver innovative, and compelling technology solutions, in partnership with our line of business CIOs, to enhance the internal customer experience that enables our business partners to deliver. **Overview:** The configuration manager is a manager who has the ability and authority to ensure daily end-to-end delivery of CM services in accordance with the configuration management plan. The configuration manager’s specific responsibilities include: + Managing the day-to-day activities of the process, including establishing priorities and work assignments + Tracking compliance to policies and procedures and resolving or escalating any compliance issues + Facilitating CM audits + Reviewing critical incident outage resolution results and responses and dispositions of failed changes due to issues related to the configuration management system (CMS) + Facilitating communication and engaging business and IT management to encourage CM efforts and value propositions + Engaging with strategic projects to ensure configuration management can deliver the required CMS functionality within project timeframes + Reviewing and approving all changes to the CMS infrastructure where applicable + Reviewing and approving significant IT infrastructure changes to ensure impacts to configuration management data are properly addressed + Mentoring the organization of CM services, concepts, policies, and procedures + Chairing the configuration control board (CCB) and enacting changes as directed + Providing and approving all requirements, use cases, user stories, etc. to support new or improving CMS functionality + Reviewing and approving all requests for the administrator log on credentials and access rights to the CMS infrastructure + Reviewing and publishing configuration management reporting **Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:** 8-12 **Education and Experience Required:** + A combined minimum of 9 years’ higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 4 years’ engineering and/or architecture experience and 3 years leadership experience + Experience with IT Asset Management + Experience with Configuration Management Database + Experience encouraging teamwork and serving as role model when leading and directing others + Understanding of technical, business and operational impacts of a project or problem **Education and Experience Preferred:** + Bachelor’s degree + Minimum of 10 years’ technology management or large program leadership experience + Extensive application and product knowledge experience with skills, application(s) and functions of technology area led + ServiceNow + Microsoft Azure + Aware of the Bank’s business plan and strategic objectives with ability to shape direction + Self-motivated and able to motivate others + Understanding business(es) supported and its’ terminology **We support our team members with generous benefits.** + Competitive compensation + Health, welfare, and retirement benefits + 401(k) match at 5% + Work-life balance and flexible work arrangements + Banking Officers start with 25 days PTO plus 12 paid holidays + 40 hours paid volunteer hours per year + Much more.
