GovCIO is currently hiring for a Configuration Manager in support of the Agile Communications Package. This position will be located within the Langley AFB, VA area.

Responsibilities

The configuration manager is responsible for managing and maintaining software systems, ensuring the integrity and consistency of software products throughout the project lifecycle. Their duties include:  

Overseeing and ensuring the integrity of software products Administering internal websites, editing scripts, and preparing documentation for software releases Designing and executing configuration plans Coordinating with supervisors and analysts Preparing complete configuration documentation and overseeing the management of configuration itemsImplementing and managing ServiceNow Discovery to automate the identification and tracking of IT assetsOverseeing data governance and defining Configuration Items (CIs) while managing relationshipsLeading the tracking and managing of update sets to ensure controlled and efficient deployment of system changes across environmentsMaintaining data integrity and supporting IT operations to align with business goals Qualifications

High School with 6 - 9 years (or commensurate experience)

Clearance Required: Secret

Must have the ability to upgrade to TS/SCI

 

Required Skills and Experience

Minimum of 6 years of experience in configuration management or a related fieldExperience in managing complex IT projects, using ServiceNow CMDB configuration management tools, and familiarity with relevant standards and regulations are also importantExpertise in MS Office products


Preferred Skills and Experience

 

Experience with ServiceNowGood writing skills to document process and proceduresGood communication skills to manage stakeholders

Posted Pay Range

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process.
