Our client, a leader in the energy sector, is seeking a Confirmations & Counterparty Management Analyst to join their team. As a Confirmations & Counterparty Management Analyst, you will be part of the Treasury & Risk department supporting the Trading, Supply & Logistics, and Marketing teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and a self-starter attitude which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Confirmations & Counterparty Management Analyst **Location:** Calgary, AB **Job Description:** + Oversee the New Counterparty Request process for all commodity counterparties; perform customer set-up and ensure systems of record are kept current. + Perform initial Know Your Customer (KYC) screening and maintain ongoing screening, including managing case escalations. + Manage daily commodity trade confirmations using various energy trading and risk management systems. + Ensure trade confirmations are in accordance with commercial contracts and are executed by the appropriate signing authority level. + Collaborate with multiple departments to support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with internal controls. **Qualifications:** + Post-Secondary education in business, finance, or legal. + Experience in a commodity trading/marketing environment. + Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word. + Working knowledge of various ETRM platforms considered an asset. + Experience with SAP software and data analytics considered an asset. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment. + Gain exposure to a variety of commodities and trading processes. + Develop your skills in counterparty management and trade confirmations. + Be part of a team that values continuous improvement and operational excellence. + Engage with diverse stakeholders across the organization.
