Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: + Must possess a valid driver's license; + High school diploma; + Two years of experience in which clerical work was a major duty. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: + Experience as a legal secretary; and/or, + Bachelor's degree, college training, and/or technical school degree/credits. Job Concepts The duties of the Constituent Services Representative shall include, but are not limited to the following: + Act as the liaison between constituents and the office by facilitating telephone calls, e-mails, walk-in visits, correspondence, and/or referrals from other agencies and political officials; + Ensure office operations for customer service runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis while providing professional representation for the entire LADOJ; + Address constituent concerns through the proper LADOJ channels, provide necessary follow up with constituents, and communicate final resolution to constituent as appropriate; + Follow office protocol with respect to addressing constituent concerns in a timely and efficient manner; + Enter constituent service requests for information and/or service and resolutions into the data system for recording and tracking purposes; + Prepare weekly constituent services reports for Executive, Administrative, and Civil Divisions; + Participate in a regular outreach staff conference call; + Participate in trainings as needed; + Assist with training for new constituent services representatives as needed; + Maintain a good working relationship with Attorney General and staff; + Meet attendance requirements as established by the office; + Accept performance-based criticism and directions; + Work well under pressure and appropriately handle high stress situations; + Perform other duties as assigned. Examples of Work The position of Constituent Services Representative may consist of, but are not limited to, the following duties: + Professionally answer LADOJ telephone systems and greet incoming visitors; + Forward phone calls to Division and/or takes messages appropriately; + Prepare, proofread, and edit correspondence, reports, and other materials; + Maintain section calendars, as well as make appointments and arrange meeting rooms; + Other duties as may be assigned.
