Construction Administrator
Job Title: Construction Administrator Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Administrator to manage the Construction Administration (CA) phase of our projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for answering all Requests for Information (RFIs) and submittals, overseeing construction work, meeting deadlines, attending project meetings, and collaborating with architects. Responsibilities + Manage the CA phase of projects. + Answer all RFIs and submittals. + Oversee construction work and ensure deadlines are met. + Attend project meetings and collaborate with architects. + Provide CA for multifamily and K-12 projects. + Interface and work with clients and architects. Essential Skills + Construction administration. + RFI management. + Project coordination. + Contracts management. + Project management. + AutoCAD design. + Knowledgeable of building codes and construction processes. + Working knowledge of PME systems design. + Ability to understand and enforce design elements as they pertain to construction documents and submittals. + Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit. Additional Skills & Qualifications + 3 years of experience in Construction Administration or as an Assistant Project Manager. + Ability to work with clients and manage deadlines effectively. Work Environment You will work alongside Revit/CAD Technicians, MEP Designers, and MEP Engineers. There is a lot of freedom to think outside the box and perform your job without micromanagement. Projects are located within Hampton Roads, Virginia Beach, Richmond, and the Outer Banks. Office hours are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with a business casual dress code. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
