Carpenter Role Overview: This ain’t your dad’s carpentry! Carpenters in our field work in the great outdoors calculating elevations, angles and harnessing the power of math to complete roadways, bridges and concrete structures. You’ll perform a variety of carpentry tasks, including setting forms, tying rebar and pouring concrete. Carpenters are one of the most important positions on any construction project. A good carpenter is able to adapt to changes on a project and build things safely and efficiently. •Assemble and disassemble wooden forms, set and tie steel, and drive piling. •Operate construction equipment and other power tooling; enhance your knowledge in various skilled trade specialties. •Demonstrate best safety practices while working at heights, moving road materials/barricades, lifting various objects up to 50lbs, and working in all weather elements.
