Construction Coordinator II - Power

SUMMARY  

Mortenson is currently seeking a Construction Coordinator II with the ability to interact with a variety of staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment, remaining flexible, resourceful, proactive, and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.   

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

Provide day-to-day construction management support  Prepare daily progress reports  Review technical documents (blueprints, estimates)  Assist with project start-up and closing tasks  Maintain supporting documentation (field books, daily reports, safety logs)  Arrange trucking, order fulfillment, and equipment delivery  Document and recommend process efficiency changes  Perform basic field quality and safety inspections  Document conformance to plans and specifications  Promote Mortenson’s safety culture  Track construction progress with photos and record-keeping  Develop spreadsheets and tools for project coordination  Demonstrate advanced skills and knowledge  Build relationships with diverse backgrounds and organizational levels 

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

High school diploma or equivalent and previous experience as a Construction Coordinator I  

OR a Non-scientific or math skills-related college degree (e.g., fine arts, philosophy, business)  

OR a 2-year degree in construction 

Strong Microsoft Office and internet skills   Construction experience preferred   Ability to learn and utilize different types of computer software used in Construction Management to support any aspect of a construction project   Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally  Ability to effectively handle detailed information and meet deadlines  Ability to multitask   Active listening skills and effective communication including an openness to diverse input and feedback  Ability to travel up to 10%

The base pay range for this role is $62,700 MIN - $84,600 MAX. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%). 

 

Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
