Construction Engineer/Auditor (Nauru)

Be part of a transformative project to improve essential urban services across Nauru. As a Construction Engineer/Auditor, you will conduct daily site inspections, monitor construction quality and safety, and ensure that new water and sanitation systems meet project standards. Your role will directly support the development of sustainable, resilient infrastructure. Duties and Responsibilities: + Perform daily inspections of construction worksites to ensure compliance with project standards and safety regulations + Maintain detailed daily logs of inspections and observations, uploading all relevant data to the works quality management system + Monitor and report on the quality, safety, and adherence to project timelines at each worksite + Support in the establishment of a water supply network, sanitation facilities, and waste recycling centers, contributing to a resilient and circular economy + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technical input on assessment, improvement, and maintenance schemes for water and sanitation systems across Nauru + Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate. Qualifications to be successful in the role: + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, or a related field preferred) + Minimum of 5 years of general work experience, with at least 3 years in construction or engineering + Strong knowledge of quality management systems and construction site protocols + Exceptional attention to detail, communication skills, and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety + Experience in infrastructure projects involving water supply and sanitation systems is an advantage Why Planate?
