Job Description: This person be estimating projects of various sizes and types within the industrial, office, education, and healthcare industries. Project sizes range from $10,000 up to $20 million. This person will largely support the design/build manager by providing estimates for schematic, design development and permit level drawings. + Provide accurate budgets for projects in the conceptual, schematic, design development and construction documents level of a project design. + Provide hard bid, competitive estimating for plan and spec projects. + Assist service department with estimates on smaller projects with line-item budgets + Provide value engineering analysis + Be able to handle multiple estimates at one time. + Present estimates and budgets to customers, providing backup documentation as needed + Work with designers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal associates as needed. Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in a construction related field preferred + 3+ years of construction estimating experience. Job Type This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s). During the initial 12 months, you will be employed through Actalent Services where you will have access to full benefits (medical, dental, vision, PTO, holiday pay, and 401k). After 12 months you will be eligible to transition to the construction firm as a direct employee.
