The Construction Execution Manager (CEM) is responsible for ensuring that each project meets the Data Center Development (DCD) guidelines and standards, which may be adjusted from time-to-time based on best practices and Lesson Learned drawn from previous projects as well as industry changing best practices. CEM is aimed to work closely with project teams across metro regions to help ensure consistent implementation of contract requirements, scope of work, project setup, data integrity, reporting, optimize resource allocation, process improvement & training, and compliance. 

The CEM will not be assigned to just one specific project or metro but will be working on multiple projects that require additional support and oversight. You will actively participate in construction progress meetings, internal and external stakeholder meetings, leadership escalation meetings, and perform jobsite visits as necessary. (Please note that this role require 25% travel.)

Cloud Operations and Innovation (CO+I) is the business unit responsible for operating Microsoft’s cloud and the Datacenter Construction Delivery (DCD) team is responsible for constructing datacenter capacity. We have a portfolio of complex, multi-disciplinary, multi-million, multi-year datacenter construction and lease projects underway.
