The Construction Financial Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Construction Financial Analyst and Construction Project Managers with all reporting as it relates to construction projects such as review and finalize all construction documentation for Landlords and General Contractors for all Build to Suit (BTS) and Reverse Build to Suit (RBTS) projects. Prep Construction Invoices, Change Order Requests, Purchase Order Requests and General Contractor Payment Applications and Closeout Documents. Work closely with DSG Lease Administration to provide all documentation necessary to collect Tenant Allowance Payments from Landlords. Scan documents, maintain electronic and paper files, open and distribute incoming departmental mail and handle outgoing mail and overnight packages. Support the Construction Financial Analyst with all projects and assignments that the team receives.

Role Responsibilities:

Manage financial systems and review for input errors – contracts, change orders, purchase order tracking. Partner with several teams, such as the Real Estate PMs, Legal and more to create Notice to Proceed forms, Contracts, Purchase Orders, Change Orders and other documents.

Process construction contracts, invoices, and related correspondence. Assist in the preparation of management reports including cost analysis and forecasts for the Construction team. Support with special projects for the Construction team.

Support the collection process for Landlord and GC back charges including initial contact for invoicing, following up on payment status, and involvement of Project Manager or escalation to Director of Construction for resolution of dispute.

Support Construction Project Managers with document control: weekly progress reports, change order management, schedule organization, close out documentation

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance

3-5 years experience

Exposure to a Capex intensive environment a plus
