Construction Inspector 1
Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a full-time position available for a water/wastewater/storm water/civil construction inspector. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Responsible for on-site construction observation under supervision Conduct field measurements, track and calculate quantities, and verify elevations Assist with on-site construction observation/monitoring/documenting/verifying conformance with contract documents and applicable standards Assisting with documenting and forwarding identified or received field concerns Prepare daily reports of construction activities and progress and prepare meeting minutes of weekly construction meetings Observe at project manager client and/or project meetings Assist with performing field testing and reporting findings to supervisor May assist with surveying and/or material testing Travel to/from various project sites in FL The successful candidate must have a valid driver’s license AND be able to pass Mead & Hunt’s Vehicle Safety Program criteria.
