Doucet, A Kleinfelder Company, is currently looking for a Construction Inspector to oversee and ensure the quality and compliance of civil construction projects. As a construction inspector, you will act as the primary liaison between the client, contractor, and engineering team for a full range of projects large and small, private and public. Our core capabilities include Land Development, Public Works and Water Resources, Transportation, Geospatial, Environmental, and Construction Management Services. Responsibilities:

Conduct rigorous inspections to verify that contractors’ work adheres to plans, specifications, contract documents, and applicable regulations.Collaborate with other field representatives, project managers, and contractors to ensure project compliance.Thoroughly and accurately interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules, identifying and addressing conflicts.Extensive knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations and standards.Prepare daily reports documenting inspections and other relevant project information.Perform additional duties as required.

Required Qualifications:

Proven ability to interpret construction schedules.Experience with civil infrastructure projects, such as roads, bridges, and wastewater management.High school diploma or equivalent.5+ years of experience in civil construction inspection.Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).Strong problem-solving and documentation skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.

Preferred Experience:

Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred with course work in Construction Technology and Mathematics.
