Your OpportunityStantec’s is growing is construction inspection footprint in the Federal marketplace and are in need of multiple Construction Inspector/Title II professional to support US Army projects through-out the State of New York. Five or more years of experience on DoD projects and a CQM certification is required.
Your Key Responsibilities Inspection and documentation of contractor’s work for conformance with the construction documents, including but not limited to: daily reports, quality tracking, memos to contractors, change orders and specification compliance. Monitor and document contractor’s work for compliance with project safety standards, and environmental compliance. Review contract documents, project plans, specifications, and assist in project progress reports. Validate quantities for the preparation of monthly contractor progress reports. Attend and participate in weekly project status meetings with contractor and clients. Perform and document final inspections. Perform other duties as assigned. Specific responsibilities may vary with each job location. Your Capabilities and Credentials Able to pass a background check and drug screening required for gate access. Must be able to perform construction site visits and be able to navigate safely on a construction site. Good computer skills and can complete training and other administrative requirements. Transportation to and from work. Must possess a valid driver’s license with good driving record Education and Experience High School Diploma Minimum of five years of CM /QA experience with DoD Projects. Previous work on any USACE or other DOD projects. Required USACE CQM (Construction Quality Manager) Certification. Required OSHA 30-hour Certificate.
