Construction Inspector

Job Description

- Collect, maintain and organize construction documentation

- Travel to construction project sites to review worksite compliance with engineering plans and specifications

- Maintain strong client relationships as a company’s representative on the project site

- Maintain strong relationships and communication with contractors and subcontractors

- Verify design plan accuracy in the field

- Consult with Contractors and Engineers regarding construction practices, construction reports, and engineering designs

- Review changes in construction and materials specifications due to developments occurring during project construction with the Project Manager or Project Engineer

Project Description:

-Large 20,000sq ft facility for the City of Toledo wastewater plant

-Doing Daily logs of work progression

-Reviewing waterline blueprints to be able to communicate with the GC's and Civil counterparts on the jobsite

-Report issues with the projects as well as solutions

-Project in Toledo expected to be complete in October then, will have local work in Perrysburg for a wastewater project and Pump station

MUST HAVE:

-Associates or Bachelors of Engineering or Engineering related program

-2+ years of Inspection experience for local municipalities/water resources or sewer projects

-Knowledge of engineering concepts, practices, procedures and principles

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
