**Job Title: Construction Laborer**
**Job Description**
The Technician will support remediation work that includes construction tasks such as clearing and grubbing, installation of erosion control materials, soil excavation, grading, dewatering, backfilling, truck scaling, equipment decontamination, and restoration efforts. The technician will support equipment operators, perform torch cutting on steel, and handle various general labor tasks on the work site, such as carrying materials, dirt work, and shoveling material.
**Responsibilities**
+ Clear and grub work areas.
+ Install erosion control materials.
+ Excavate and grade soil.
+ Perform dewatering and backfilling tasks.
+ Scale trucks and decontaminate equipment.
+ Assist in restoration efforts.
+ Spot equipment operators and perform torch cutting on steel.
+ Carry materials, perform dirt work, and shovel materials.
**Essential Skills**
+ Previous construction/civil experience working outside moving dirt.
+ Ability to lift 75 lbs. independently.
+ Willingness to travel 75% of the time and be home on weekends.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Operating experience after going full-time.
+ 40 Hour HAZWOPER (not required for this project).
+ Environmental experience.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00
