The construction manager is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities across various domains such as engineering, research and development, financial systems, and product roll-out. This role involves starting a new region launch.
Responsibilities
+ Coordinate projects by creating detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
+ Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to clients.
+ Recruit employees, assign, direct, and evaluate their work, and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.
+ Analyze technology resource needs and market demand to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.
+ Confer with management, production, and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.
+ Review and recommend or approve contracts and cost estimates.
Essential Skills
+ 10+ years of experience in construction management.
+ Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
+ Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
+ Proficiency in computer software such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, etc.
+ PMI or PMP certification preferred.

Work Environment
The position is based in CHARLOTTE-AP2 with a standard work schedule of Monday to Friday, 50 hours a week. The project is a ground-up construction with the potential for extension. There will be no expenses or per diem provided.

This is a Contract position based out of Charlotte, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $87.00 - $97.00/hr.
