Job Overview The incumbent will provide construction management on ongoing projects. Work Model: Onsite Responsibilities Essential Duties & Job Functions: Coordinate and schedule utility outages, road closures, and facility disruptions in coordination with Op’s flight to minimize impact to customers and other base organizations and report to base populous through all available resources; keep the BCE abreast of all related activities. Define contractor lay down area. Coordinate security requirements. Perform and document all project inspections. Ensure contractor compliance with plans and specifications. Evaluate, monitor, and document contract activity and progress/deficiencies. Prepare and submit close-out documents for input into CE IT system. Transfer manuals to technical library. Submit contract logs to contracting officer. Manage project information in automated CE system-project management. Host pre-design charrette. Coordinate base-level design reviews. Act as liaison between execution agent and based on local D&C requirements/issues (e.g., work clearances, waivers, security). Coordinate and participate in pre-final and final acceptance inspection. Closeout projects in conjunction with Project Managers and in coordination with Real Property Officer. Transfer warranty information to CEO and establish timelines to conduct inspections prior to warranty expiration. Other duties as assigned. Job Requirements Mandatory: Minimum five (5) years’ experience, in discipline of civil structures, mechanical HVAC, electrical or architectural in a project/construction management lead role. Minimum of two (2) years of public/governmental organization experience. Must be able to acquire and maintain a Secret Security clearance.   Shall be present on base during normal duty hours and available for after-hour responses. Ability to acquire and maintain government identification/common access card.  Ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional, courteous manner in diversified situations.  Valid state Driver’s License with acceptable driving record pertinent to the position.   Ability to successfully pass any background checks and/or drug testing required on the contract.   Must be able to read, write and speak English.
