Clover Leaf is seeking a Construction Manager to support operations at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL). The Construction Manager will be responsible for organizing and overseeing operations in Construction Engineering, Controls, and Contracts Administration to ensure they are properly staffed and coordinated. This role will provide timely group support services to assist various construction projects, ensuring a consistent application of construction engineering standards and practices across all jobs.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee and coordinate all construction operations, ensuring alignment between engineering, controls, and contract administration. Manage and ensure proper staffing of teams within construction projects. Provide guidance and procedural oversight for civil, electrical, and mechanical construction processes. Develop and implement construction project plans, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. Interpret technical designs and procedures, ensuring proper execution within construction projects. Facilitate effective communication between various groups and stakeholders within the project. Ensure compliance with construction engineering standards and best practices across all projects. Plan, develop, and coordinate phases of projects, including those with unique or complex challenges. Conduct research and provide recommendations to senior management regarding policies and project execution. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience OR Equivalent combination of education and experience. Registration or certification in a technical discipline is typically required. Desired Skills: Technical Design Interpretation – Ability to interpret and apply technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Communication – Strong ability to coordinate across teams and effectively communicate complex construction processes.
