In this role you will get to **manage on-site field construction activities for various projects** . **What You'll Be Doing:** + Supports RECP construction program in a highly responsible, managerial, and supervisory manner + Mentor project team members and foster a working environment where culturally diverse project staff can work together cooperatively to deliver the project on-time and on-budget thorough effective team leadership + Directs the overall planning of construction activities to identify critical milestones and priorities.Determines budget estimates and staffing requirements for the defined scope and schedule. + Manages the assignment of manpower, materials, and equipment to maximize efficiency, maintain schedules, and to meet budget goals. Keeps alert to possible problem areas and takes preventative action to ensure that critical milestones are met for each phase of the project. + Ensures the use of sound construction practices to attain required quality control at the maximum efficiency + Prepares periodic reports summarizing progress of construction activities for higher-level management and client + Responsible for management of all aspects of the construction contract. **What Required Skills You'll Bring:** + Bachelor’s degree in project or construction management, business, or related field (or equivalent experience) + 15+ years demonstrable experience managing large projects, and experience in the construction of bus or rail maintenance facilities + Proven ability to manage complex budgets and schedules + Knowledge of working in a government environment + Ability to pass a government background check + May be required to travel out-of-state to conduct manufacturer inspections of facilities and witness any factory acceptance testing as required. (Any required travel will follow the Client’s travel policies). **What Desired Skill You'll Bring:** + Project Management Professional (PMP) certification; and/or + CCM certification. + Experience with Design-Build contracts or Experience with PDB, CMR and other incentive-based contracts is preferred **Minimum Clearance Required to Start:** Not Applicable/None This position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.
