The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Installation/Construction Manager to oversee the planning and execution of a large installation of mechanical and electrical equipment on a site in Melbourne. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the site installation, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Tasks and Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate, and supervise all on-site activitiesLean and mentor a team of Project Managers, Site Managers and Site SupervisorsDevelop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resourcesEnsure compliance with safety regulations and company policiesLiaise with builders, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project executionManage builder interfaces to ensure project milestones are metMonitor progress and performance, making adjustments as necessaryPrepare and present regular project reports to senior managementResolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the projectFoster a positive and productive work environment.

About You :

Our ideal candidate will have:

Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum of 10 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on large installation projectsMechanical and electrical aptitudeStrong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulationsProven leadership experience managing large teams and complex projectsExcellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsProficiency in project management software and toolsAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesValid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed
