Ventia’s Transmission team is seeking a skilled and collaborative Construction Manager to join our growing team. The role will primarily support the maintenance and small projects for ElectraNet’s HV transmission assets, working alongside a dedicated team of linesmen. 
With a strong pipeline of work in 2025, this is a great opportunity to contribute to the success of a vital sector and lead projects across Adelaide and potentially other states as opportunities arise.
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Work closely with the Project Manager to manage and support field staff and subcontractors in delivering projects efficiently and to high standards. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. Collaborate with the project team to develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resourcing strategies. Provide sound technical support and expertise to the team, particularly in the area of HV transmission. Oversee the coordination of labour, equipment, and materials to optimise project execution and minimize downtime. Safety & Quality Standards: Ensure the highest level of safety, quality, and efficiency across all operations. Coordinate and manage subcontractors to ensure timely and quality delivery of tasks.

Qualifications & Skills:

Extensive experience in the management and delivery of HV transmission projects. Proven leadership skills and the ability to guide teams towards successful project completion. Strong knowledge of safety standards and quality compliance in the construction industry. Excellent planning, organizational, and resource management skills. Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on efficiency and continuous improvement. Ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders, including project teams, subcontractors, and clients. Demonstrated experience in managing subcontractors and ensuring quality work.
