Construction Materials Technician
**Aerotek's client is looking for Construction Materials Technician to join their team in the Baltimore, MD** In this role, you will be responsible for sampling and testing soil and concrete samples on various construction projects throughout the DMV area. You will also be required to log daily records and report your findings to your supervisor. **Responsibilities** + Sample and test soil and concrete samples on construction projects throughout the DMV area. + Log daily records and report findings to the supervisor. + Ensure accurate placement of soil samples in the lab to avoid misplacement. + Work under minimal supervision while adhering to project deadlines. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, geology, or a related field is preferred. + Experience with geospatial, labor, construction, rock, and subsurface work. + **Concrete Level 1; ACI/WACEL/ICC certs required** + **Soil Cert; WACEL/Nicet soil/ICC certs required** **Why Work Here?** + We offer a dynamic work environment that values precision and dedication. Field Technicians are expected to work close to 40 hours a week. Lab work is completed based on the job requirements with no set expectations on duration. **_Qualified candidates will be given a call within 48 hours of submitting an application_** **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
