Salary: $120,000 - $160,000
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Leader to drive growth in our Houston office, focusing on Construction Materials Engineering and Testing (CoMET). As a seasoned seller-doer, you will lead efforts to expand our team, drive strategic business development, and oversee well-trained inspection/testing and project management professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Develop, promote, and champion a local Construction Services business plan. Drive strategic business development, marketing, and growth.
- Project Management: Oversee all phases of project delivery, including initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing a diverse portfolio of commercial, industrial, government, and institutional projects.
- Client Relations: Develop and maintain existing local client relationships and expand Kleinfelders visibility within the Houston area.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and manage junior staff and project-level professionals, ensuring they have the tools, skills, opportunities, and mentorship to succeed.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support and leadership for local project/client development and execution.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure consistent, high-quality professional services in accordance with Kleinfelders guidance principles (mission, vision, values) and expectations for quality, risk management, profitability, client service, safety, and timely delivery.
- Proposal Preparation: Prepare proposals, materials testing fee estimates, and provide testing and inspection oversight.
- Professional Development: Provide continued professional development, technical growth, and coaching for CoMET staff.


Additional Information:
- The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in building a separate lab and overseeing the materials testing services in the Houston area. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead a large reservoir project and oversee field services, project management, and business development in the Houston market.
