Job Title: Construction Observer

Job Description

We are seeking motivated candidates for a Construction Observer to provide field service support for our growing portfolio of PV infrastructure. The candidate will cover a region of operation and handle multiple project sites, assisting Construction Superintendents. The candidate must have the ability to travel from site to site in their operational area. The Construction Observer may also be called on to assist in site walks and quality inspections as directed by the Construction Superintendent in their region or the Director of Construction.

ResponsibilitiesEnforce safety and regulatory policies and proceduresMeasure productivity standards for contractors and subcontractorsAssist Construction Superintendents in developing a 3-week look-ahead schedule and work with the project team to ensure the schedule is metRecord deliveries and verify quantity countsReview plans and specificationsComplete administrative tasks given by the project teamConduct on-site inspections, including but not limited to civil, safety, mechanical, and electrical inspectionsAssist with on-site repairs to project sitesEnsure site cleanlinessEssential SkillsInterest in Solar and Construction ManagementPositive, can-do attitudeStrong communication skillsComputer literacyTechnical aptitudeProven commitment to job assignmentsAbility to work well independently and as part of a teamAdditional Skills & QualificationsSkills in construction, construction management, and renewable energyPay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
