Job Description

AECOM is currently pursuing an experienced Construction Project Manager to support various projects located within the New York, NY area. The Construction Project Manager will support its Construction Management Teams working in the NYC Metropolitan area.

Directs and manages the entire project, guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, and a primary liaison between AECOM and client interfaceManages project staff & coordinates with Project ManagerManages project financials including staffing & coordinates with Project ManagerManages Budgets & coordinates with Project AccountantAttends & hosts project meetingsSchedules and coordinates between AECOM; client; subconsultant and subcontractor teamsAccountable for all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and scheduleDevelop Bid Packages including contracts to procure subconsultants & subcontractorsReviews subcontractsTracks project permitting requirementsManages overall project schedulingDevelops and negotiates Change OrdersOverall responsibility and management of project including but not limited to pre-construction budgeting/schedule stage, procurement, through contract closeout Position has primary fiscal responsibility and key liaison between client for assigned project

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree plus ten years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or educationDue to the projects associated with this position a US Citizenship is requiredTransit and Transportation Experience

Preferred Qualifications: 

Excellent written communications and presentation abilities in internal project settings with, the senior management team, external project stakeholders including senior client management leadershipSoftware proficiency in Procore, SharePoint, MS ProjectCertifications: PE,CCM, NICET, PMP, DBIA
