Construction Project Manager

**CTG is seeking to fill a Construction Project Manager opening for our client in Anchorage, AK.**
**Location:** Anchorage, AK
**Duration:** 6 months
**Duties:**
+ Lead the construction project to completion, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
+ Develop, manage, and track project budgets, schedules, and resources.
+ Oversee contractor and subcontractor selection, negotiations, and contract management.
+ Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including environmental and safety standards.
+ Collaborate with internal stakeholders, architects, engineers, and utility planners to ensure seamless project execution.
+ Conduct regular site inspections and address any construction-related challenges.
+ Manage risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
+ Ensure quality control and adherence to design specifications.
+ Provide regular project updates to senior management and stakeholders.
+ Resolve conflicts and issues that arise during construction.
**Skills:**
+ Strong understanding of construction processes, contracts, and safety regulations.
+ Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Procore, or similar).
+ Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
+ Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders and manage competing priorities.
+ Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
**Experience:**
+ Minimum of 7+ years of experience in construction project management, preferably within the utility sector.
+ Proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects from planning to completion.
+ Experience with utility infrastructure and facilities construction is preferred.
+ Knowledge of environmental permitting and sustainability practices is a plus.
**Education:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
+ PMP or CCM certification is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
