Construction Project Manager (Mid) - Senior Associate

What You Will Do:

The Construction Project Manager (CPM) - Mid - Senior Associate will support projects, to include construction, design/build, architecture and engineering, space management, and facilities management of large complex construction projects. The general responsibilities of the CPM – Mid Level are as follows:

As required, provide on-site construction management oversight during mobilization, site preparation, construction, fit-out, commissioning, and occupancy.

Provides support in the planning, management direction, project completion, client satisfaction, and financial outcome of assigned construction projects.

Interfaces with clients to define project requirements. Majority of issues are tenant improvement and finishes.

Reviews schedule, and aligns project work plan and deadlines with requirements.

Monitors on-site processes, procedures, and systems for compliance with construction drawings, security requirements, and code compliance

Coordinates and monitors the completion of activities in all phases of the project cycle.

Monitors and oversees the project design or construction effort, to include but not limited to risk management, security and safety compliance, etc.

Attends meetings (on-site/off-site or video conferencing), and provides official project status reports per the frequency required (daily, weekly, bi-weekly, etc.).

Assembles a high performing integrated project team when required, to include all stakeholders, manages communication, and manages expectations throughout the entire project.

Responsible for managing facilities projects from concept to close out to include scope of work development, estimates, oversight of design, construction, furniture, cabling and close out of projects.

Confirms compliance with client standards and Program of Requirements (POR) on facilities construction projects.

Travels periodically to locations within geographic area of responsibility for initial surveys, design surveys, and construction related inspections and meetings.

Advises Client’s leadership and team members on various program and project related issues.


What You Will Need:

 An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED Top Secret Federal or DoD security clearance

High School Diploma or GED

TEN (10) or more years of experience in a construction, architecture, or engineering related field. Bachelors degree may be substituted for 4 years of experience.

This role is 100% on site.


What Would Be Nice To Have:

Degree(s) Preferred: Business Administration, Construction Management, Project Management, or other related field.

Certification(s) Preferred: One of the following certifications are preferred: Certified Construction Manager (CCM), Project Management Professional (PMP), and/or an active Real estate license.

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents and construction drawings.

Conducts full range of project and program analysis.

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents.

Ability to solve complex problems involving several options in situations.

Advanced analytical and quantitative skills.

Ability to build and maintain effective professional/customer relationships.

Project Management of Federal Government facilities projects.

Superior communication and organization development skills.

Ability to effectively prioritize competing demands.

Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency and industry/project software packages to include but not be limited to latest versions of (PM Prolog, Newforma, Microsoft Project, Primavera, RS Means, Buzz saw or other cloud-based construction management protocols, etc.).

The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00-$163,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
