Construction Safety Manager
Overview:Maintains an organizational safety strategy by implementing safety programs, assessing safety equipment requirements, inspections, and managing hazardous work conditions. Identifies for safety improvement and recommends solutions to managers and other management. Provides guidance to leadership teams on safety best and communicates potential safety risks to appropriate team members. Collects data regarding safety programs, and violations, and compiles findings into reports for management.
Responsibilities:Investigates safety incidents and evaluates preventative measures to reduce future risk.Administers safety training to new and current employees regarding safety policies.Stays abreast of industry trends to continuously improve safety programs and execution of safety strategy.May distribute required equipment to ensure safety while employees perform assigned tasks.May support safety investigations and provide appropriate documentation to necessary team members.May monitor and review video recordings.
Typical Functions:Serves as a subject matter expert on the organization's safety procedures and programs, as well as industry safety standards and laws.
