The Safety Manager – ensures the safety and well-being of all team members and assets at our Columbus area jobsite. This role involves implementing safety measures, conducting training, preventing and investigating incidents, analyze risk, handle emergencies and fostering a culture of safety across all operations.

Work closely with Field Operations, Project Operations, the General Contractor, and trade partners to maintain safety standards.Training:
Conduct job-site safety training and maintain accurate training records.Incident Management:
Investigate and document injuries, incidents, and near-misses. Identify root causes and implement corrective actions.Risk Assessment:
Oversee and ensure compliance with safety protocols for high-risk activities, including crane lifts, excavations, and electrical work.Reporting:
Maintain daily logs of jobsite activities, critical issues, and key conversations.Key Attributes:
Safety-Driven: Deeply committed to promoting a culture of safety and taking proactive measures. Meticulous & Communicative: Highly attentive to detail with exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities. Calm Under Pressure: Adept at resolving conflicts and staying composed in challenging situations. Discreet & Trustworthy: Able to handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality and professionalism.Requirements/Qualifications:
12-15+ years as a safety professional in the construction industry. Required: CHST certification. Strongly Preferred: Certified Safety Professional (CSP) with at least 2 years of CSP experience. Completed OSHA 500 Basic Instructor Course in Occupational Safety and Health Standards for Construction. OSHA 30-hour certification. NFPA 70E Certification a plus Experience in electrical construction is highly desirable.
