As a leading provider of turn-key services, we're seeking a talented Construction Safety Supervisor to join our team in the greater NYC area. Job Summary: RCC is looking for an experienced Construction Safety Supervisor to oversee the implementation and operations of our Project Safety, Health & Environmental Program. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, conduct training and inspections, and lead our safety efforts to maintain a safe and healthy work environment. Responsibilities: + Implement and manage project safety programs, conduct site inspections, and investigate accidents + Develop and conduct training sessions, new hire orientations, and safety meetings + Ensure compliance with OSHA Construction Standards, federal, state, and New York City safety and environmental regulations + Identify hazards, develop corrective actions, and implement site-specific safety plans + Complete reports on jobsite inspections and maintain accurate records + Lead and manage safety teams, fostering a culture of safety excellence Requirements: + 5+ years of safety management experience in heavy construction + In-depth knowledge of OSHA Construction Standards and federal, state, and local regulations + Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office + Effective leadership, management, and interpersonal skills + Ability to identify hazards, develop corrective actions, and communicate effectively Preferred Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety/Health or related field + OSHA Outreach Trainer – Construction Standards certification + CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician) certification + ASSE (American Society of Safety Engineers) membership What We Offer: + Competitive salary and excellent benefits package + Opportunity to work with a dynamic team of professionals + Professional development and growth opportunities + Drug-free work environment Equal Employment Opportunity: Railroad Construction Company is an EEO/AA employer.
