Construction Sales Support Representative
What We Need: The construction sales support will assist the inside and outside construction sales team in achieving monthly sales targets and KPIs by taking on the following list of tasks. This role is of utmost importance to limit the number of non-selling activities completed by the construction territory account managers on a daily basis, while also maintaining the team’s ability to provide an excellent customer experience, and top notch contractor services to our clients. What You'll Be Doing: + Ensuring accurate and timely order entry, including preparing quotes for stock and custom products, and processing credit/return/replacement documents. + Facilitating and tracking order expedites with manufacturing, distribution, and outside vendors, while providing customers with tracking information and delivery expectations. + Handling complications with orders by coordinating with operations teams to prioritize and meet customer deadlines. + Liaising between operations and sales by attending production meetings and communicating updates on backlog, machine issues, and large-value orders. + Maintaining and updating tools such as the large-value order tracker, SIC code account assignments, and processes for special packaging services. + Reviewing and releasing construction high-value orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with customer requirements. + Processing bid opportunities by reviewing bid documentation and submitting responses to customers. + Assisting the construction order entry team and performing other related duties as assigned. What You Will Need To Be Successful: + Bachelors in Marketing, Communications, or related field + Minimum of 2-3 years experience in management. + Experience as sales support, customer service, or a similar role. + Experience in a sales environment. + Be able to interpret sales metrics and be goal-oriented. + Understanding of sales process. + Sense of ownership of your performance and its impact on company’s success. + Critical thinker and problem-solving skills. + Good time-management and multitasking skills. + Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
