Role description:
Responsible for all technical and engineering aspects of the construction project.
Role accountabilities:
• Establish partnerships with the Clients team working together for the benefit of the Project.
• Review plans and other technical documents
• Assist in the preparation of the Project Construction Risk Profile
• Assist the project manager in creating and distributing the project schedule.
• Monitor costs and project progress.
• Maintain control of all project documentation
• Assist in the preparation, updating and maintaining of the Project Directory, Risk Register and Project Execution Plan during the term of the Project.
• Assist in the preparation and updating of safety report on a weekly / monthly basis.
• Assist in the preparation and updating of a QA / QC report on a weekly / monthly basis.
• Assist in the preparation and issuance of Construction Close Out Report
• Checking drawings, review project work scope, drawings, and requirements for compliance to engineering design, materials, procurement, fabrication and construction
• Assist project team resolving any unexpected technical difficulties, and other problems that may arise
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering or related field of study
• Ability to read and comprehend plans and specifications • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines • Self-motivated and proactive.
• Has 3 to 5 years of work experience in Construction Projects with MEP
• Preferably with experience in waterproofing in Hotel & Casino projects
• Can do basic Cost Estimates and Cost Monitoring
• Can do Project Monitoring and Risks Mitigation
• Knowledgeable in Quality Assurances in respect to Project Documentations
• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders
• Strong communication skills both oral and written
• Proficiency in programming and planning software (e.g., MS project, Autocad, Microsoft Office) required
• Health and Safety Background is an advantage
