Compensation: $60-61/hourLocation: Carlsbad, NMAssignment Duration: 12 months+Work Schedule: 10/4Benefits: Comprehensive insurance with 401(k), Holidays and PTO Responsibilities Act as a Construction technical consultant to various Construction and Project task teamsChampion on-site safety awareness and safe performance with contractor and among Project Team membersIdentify gaps/vulnerabilities/risks in construction plans, tools, contractor performance, etc. and recommend solutions/mitigationsDevelop construction plans, provide strategies, and give guidance on resolution of construction management issuesProvide expert input to concept screening/selection, contracting strategy and other early project planning deliverables (Early Project Plan (EPP), Production Planning (PP), Early Project Development Basis (EPDB), Project Design Basis (PDB), Logistics, Infrastructure and Early Works (LIEW) plans, mob/demob plan, cost, materials, equipment, schedule, etc.) Champion/share best practices and Construction Management System (CoMS)/tools with project planning and execution teams. Ensure balanced and consistent application of CoMS/tools across projects Conduct/assist reviews of construction costs, schedules, and execution plansAssist with identification, evaluation and selection of construction execution personnel for emerging projects Prepare and deliver training and act as mentor to early experience Construction EngineersProvide expertise in the pre-qualification of contractors, evaluation of contractors, and maintenance of strategic relationshipsLead Construction Readiness Reviews and/or Independent Project ReviewsPerform other duties as requestedQualifications Experience in field Construction planning, execution, and completionsBS in Engineering, Construction Management, or Technical degreeWilling to travel (domestic/overseas) to project sites Past Project Construction Advisor experience on major capital project Fluent English (speaking/writing)Able to work in a multicultural environment
