Superintendent Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Superintendent to join a rapidly growing construction firm based in Washington, DC. The company specializes in ground-up multi-family projects and is committed to connectivity and collaboration. This role involves overseeing large-scale multi-family projects with budgets of $10 million or more, requiring expertise in managing projects with at least seven units. Responsibilities + Oversee and manage large multi-family construction projects from inception to completion. + Ensure projects meet quality standards and are completed on time and within budget. + Coordinate and supervise the work of subcontractors, managing 7-8 subcontractors on each project. + Facilitate collaboration among team members to achieve project goals. + Implement project plans and schedules, adapting to any changes or challenges that arise. Essential Skills + 3+ years of experience as a construction Superintendent. + Proven experience in ground-up multi-family construction projects, specifically those with at least 7 units. + Strong capability in managing multiple subcontractors simultaneously. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. + Strong leadership and communication skills. + Problem-solving skills and adaptability in dynamic project conditions. Work Environment The work environment is on-site in Washington, DC, with a team of approximately 10 members. The role requires presence at the jobsite five days per week, alongside 1-2 other team members.
