Position Overview:
The Construction Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing daily operations on the construction site, ensuring that all aspects of the project are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. This role will involve coordinating and supervising construction teams, managing schedules, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining effective communication with clients and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate day-to-day activities on construction sites.Lead and manage subcontractors, laborers, and other on-site personnel.Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.Monitor and enforce strict safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment.Maintain project schedules and provide regular updates to project managers and stakeholders.Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on the job site.Review and approve daily reports, time sheets, and other documentation.Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and other team members.Ensure all materials and equipment are available and accounted for.Assist in project planning and budgeting as needed.Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred).5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar role.Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.Proven ability to manage and supervise teams effectively.Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend) is a plus.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.OSHA certification is preferred.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.What We Offer:
