Are you ready to take on the role of Construction Superintendent for a major project in Boden, Sweden? As a key member of our client's team, you will oversee and coordinate all aspects of construction, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.

Role Overview

HSSE Culture Development: Actively participate in creating a safety and environmental awareness culture on site. Resource Supervision: Manage and support field resources to ensure timely completion of work within budget and specifications. Subordinate Training: Ensure all lower tier subordinates and subcontractors are knowledgeable and trained in safety, industrial relations, and construction procedures. Coordination: Facilitate arrangements between client and subcontractors for work site access. Workhour Monitoring: Track construction workhours and provide progress reports to Project Controls. Permit Management: Daily interface with permits for construction. Quality Control: Maintain high quality standards in accordance with design documents. Training: Provide progressive training to subordinate personnel for career growth. Subcontractor Coordination: Coordinate works on site between multiple subcontractors.

Skills & Qualifications

Construction Management: Experience in on-site construction with experience in a supervisory role. Constructability: Familiarity with all aspects of on-site construction. Industrial Relations: Experience in managing subcontractors and maintaining positive relationships. Project Controls: Knowledge of cost codes and experience with progress reporting. Quality Management: Understanding of quality standards and ability to maintain them. Safety Focus: High priority on ensuring safety in all aspects of construction work. Technical Direction: Ability to provide technical direction and planning to responsible parties. Professionalism: Represent client in a professional manner at all times. Driver's License: Must have a current driver's license.

Education & Experience

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred. Experience: Experience in on-site construction with experience in a supervisory role. Certifications: Relevant certifications in construction management or related field preferred.
