We are seeking a Construction Supervisor to join our team in Gilmer, TX. In this role you will support all phases of construction projects and manage all aspects of the day-to-day operations of team members.

Manages several crews with the goal of keeping the projects moving forwardDrives the company’s safety policies in the fieldSupports all phases of construction projectsDevelops skillsets and knowledge of construction teams – both aerial and undergroundManages payroll and overtime guidelines; manages productivity levelsCompletes employee performance management functions; disciplinary actions, performance reviews and ongoing developmentWill be the team’s “expert” and “go to” resource; spending time in the field to understand, improve and build out the teamReviews, updates and maintains team dataManages all aspects of the day-to-day operations of team members, headcount requirementsWorks with leaders to delegate tasks when relevantKeeps safety as #1 priority for each team member: adhering to company safety standards and all federal, state and local lawsDrives team to meet deadlines and produce quality projectsProvides a high level of customer service when interfacing with customersGives direction to multiple crews and their job site activitiesBuilds and maintains positive relationships with utilities, clients, permitting agencies and government officials as neededHandles customer and contractor problems related to projectsWorks in a variety of environments; indoors, outdoors, elevated, tight spaces etc.Maintains open communications with other departmentsOther duties as assigned Requirements 3+ years of relevant aerial and/or underground construction leadership experience requiredPrior telecommunications construction industry experience required (Coax Splicing, Fiber Splicing, Directional Drilling, Aerial Construction, map reading, etc.) Ability to be flexible and manage changing prioritiesAbility to travel in market and occasionally to other markets, open to a variety of schedules and accessible outside of normal business hours as neededExcellent customer service, time management, problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsAbility to communicate effectively in-person or virtuallyAbility to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customersAbility to give feedback; positive and negative when neededStrong desire to grow and develop team membersAbility to complete work indoors, outdoors, in tight spaces and elevated by bending, reaching, twisting, climbing as neededAbility to safely navigate various terrains, managing equipment and toolsA body weight of no more than 275 pounds to perform ladder work safely. **Safety is our #1 Priority.
