Title: Construction Supervisor- Civil KBR is looking for Civil Construction Supervisor for 28/28 rotation to be based in Iraq. Accountabilities/Expectations: + Single Point Responsible for the safe execution of the defined work scope in the plant area. + Understand and be responsible for managing the site safety rules for the defined plant area. + Will understand and be responsible for the scope to be executed including all the interfaces and safety requirements. + The work scope can be a complete new multi discipline area or a single discipline scope passing through numerous operational areas. Clear Communication and understanding between operations and the construction team is paramount. The scope is managed, controlled and risk assessed by the Permit to work. + Can be the responsible for managing a dedicated contractor work force in the area or be part of integrated team managing a combined resourced construction/commissioning team. + Participate in site safety audits regarding work execution, permits, work site standards and workforce knowledge of the work. + Ensure a fully briefed workforce and operational staff including valid permits and risk assessments. + Ensure accurate progress reporting of physical scope completion not based on man-hour estimate. + Ensure raising technical queries associated with site design/ operational changes. + Ensure planning mobilization of vendors to ensure minimal NPT for these expensive personnel. + Responsible for minimizing NPT of work execution by ensuring, scope preparation is completed before mobilization of main work force, material is on site, design scopes are approved and are understood is on site, surveys have been completed to confirm proposed execution is doable + Timely approval of construction work packs and associated Safety Certificates as AE. + Participate in jointly walk downs of systems for handover to commissioning and Operations. + Support to commissioning department for functional commissioning. E ducation + Bachelors or Diploma degree., i.e. Civil Experience and Skill set + Minimum 8 years’ experience in Oil and Gas related projects + Minimum 5 years’ experience in Oil and Gas Project Delivery in a multidiscipline workforce + Strong leadership and teambuilding skills + Supervisory experience + Fluent English skills
