CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR (E & I, SCADA) - JD
Qualifications: Bachelor's or Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from a recognized international university. Experience: 10-15 years of overall experience in Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) construction, specifically in offshore topside structures/modules and living quarters for the oil and gas industry. Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, contractors, vendors, and external agencies. Key Responsibilities: Supervise EPIC Contractors during construction activities at the site, ensuring compliance with project requirements. Review and provide input on detailed design drawings, method statements, and material requisitions. Coordinate contractor mobilization and ensure seamless integration into site operations. Oversee and approve construction activities, ensuring quality inspections, material submissions, and contractor documentation are processed effectively. Conduct daily inspections of contractor work to ensure compliance with contractual specifications. Manage all aspects of Electrical/Instrument Construction activities, including site investigations, surveys, and installation supervision. Supervise: Installation of earthing and lightning protection systems. Lighting and small power systems. Cable tray installations, fire alarm system cabling, and terminations. Fiber optic cable installations and splicing. Installation of fire alarm control panels, repeater panels, mimic panels, junction boxes, and other control panels. Coordinate cable entries, routes, and diversions to meet project requirements. Ensure seamless integration and coordination with mechanical, HVAC, fire alarm, loss prevention, and building services teams. Perform cable terminations, loop checks, and witness SAT pre-commissioning activities. Maintain accurate progress records, report work anomalies, and recommend corrective actions as needed. Prepare punch lists for completed works and ensure quality inspections, particularly for EHV equipment, before handover. Enforce safety standards on-site by overseeing work permits and ensuring compliance with HSE regulations. Liaise with QC Inspectors and HSE Supervisors on quality and safety matters. Support the development of as-built drawings and documentation for final project handover. Provide regular updates to Senior Construction Supervisors on project progress, site challenges, and recommendations for improvements.
