Construction Team Coordinator - Design and Construction **Galveston, Texas, United States** **New** Engineering, Crafts, Trades & Labor UTMB Health Requisition # 2501187 **Minimum Qualifications:** Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field and at least 1 year of experience in a related role. **Preferred Qualifications:** Construction or facilities management is highly preferred. **Job Summary:** Responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of contracts related to construction and facilities projects. This includes overseeing scheduling, billing, and invoicing processes. The coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for communication between the customer and the team, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently, on schedule, and within budget. **Job Duties:** · Collaborate with other team members to ensure the successful coordination, communication, and administration of projects, with a focus on budget and schedule management. · Develop and implement creative strategies to enhance service to both internal and external customers. · Facilitate effective communication across project teams to ensure smooth workflows and clarity on project requirements. · Ensure all team members understand their roles, tasks, deadlines, and expected outcomes to guarantee a unified approach to project completion. · Oversee and maintain contracts throughout the life of the project. · Manage and process tasks within the Electronic Document System (EDS). · Compile, maintain, and update spreadsheet reports to track project progress and performance. · Monitor and address all items on the Critical Task List, ensuring issues are resolved promptly. · Act as the initial point of contact for the project team to ensure smooth communication and issue resolution. · Track project progress, contracts, and timelines to ensure all aspects of the project are on track. · Adhere to internal controls, reporting structures, and organizational procedures. · Perform additional duties as needed to support team and department goals. · Serve as the departmental Key Control Officer (KCO), ensuring compliance with relevant processes and controls. · Enter requisitions and ensure that all proper documents are received and processed in accordance with company procedures. · Strong organizational and communication skills to support the smooth execution of multiple projects simultaneously. **Salary Range:** Actual salary commensurate with experience. **Work Schedule:** Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, and as needed on occasion. **Equal Employment Opportunity** UTMB Health strives to provide equal opportunity employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, national origin, sex, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, genetic information, disability, veteran status, or any other basis protected by institutional policy or by federal, state or local laws unless such distinction is required by law.
