The BI Developer Consultant exercises a high degree of autonomy and exceptional self-management. They possess advanced skills in data modelling, ETL, coding and creating data pipelines, with functional awareness of platforms like Azure and Google Cloud alongside emerging technologies such as machine learning and generative AI capabilities. They have mastery of advanced analytics tools, proficiency in SQL, SMSed developing Python and R knowledge.They excel in crafting intuitive, impactful analysis interfaces and translating complex data into senior-level narratives. They drive innovation and best practices, fostering seamless integration into varying complex environments.
As a strategic and commercial thinker, they align Global Insight with business goals, excelling in relationship management and leadership conversations. Their role encompasses managing up to five direct reports, assuming responsibility for multiple accounts, covering L&D, mentoring, innovation, risk mitigation, continuity of service, recruitment, territorial data governance (i.e., GDPR and compliance risks), consolidation and standardization of cluster Insight quality, best practices and standards while reporting to the Senior Strategic Insight Manager (L5). The Strategic Insight Manager role accommodates scalability and sensible line management commitments as Global Insight expands with responsibilities for L1 > L3 delivery.

As a Consultant, BI Developer on our team, you will:
- Conduct data mining, modeling, processing, and ensure data hygiene for large and complex datasets, adhering to GDPR and InfoSec principles.
- Develop and maintain advanced toolkits using Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, SQL, Power Automate, Azure Databricks, and API integrations.
- Translate complex data solutions into intuitive and impactful dashboards and scorecards, driving adoption of best practices in UX design and visualization.
- Lead innovation efforts by iterating on existing tools and processes to enhance efficiency, user experience, and value creation.
- Manage a collective workstack, ensuring timely and accurate delivery while proactively addressing risks with stakeholders.
- Perform deep analytical work across disciplines like productivity, customer experience, forecasting, predictive modeling, machine learning, and more.
- Craft compelling narratives from complex data insights, presenting actionable recommendations through clear visualizations and plain language.
- Foster strong relationships with internal, operational, and client stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and strategic growth.
- Drive tactical and strategic initiatives by aligning data solutions with business objectives, contractual goals, and potential growth opportunities.
-Manage a team of analysts, overseeing their workload, quality of output, and career development, including recruitment and onboarding.

- Possess advanced expertise in data mining, transformation, and modeling, with a strong understanding of global data solutions and technologies.
- Demonstrate mastery of tools such as PowerBI (DAX, MQuery), SQL, Power Automate, Azure Databricks, and ETL practices.
- Have a proven track record of designing and delivering user-friendly dashboards and reports aligned with industry best practices.
- Exhibit innovation in adopting and evolving tools, processes, and methodologies to maximize data value and operational efficiency.
